We at Hareclive believe it is absolutely fundamental to provide our children with a broad and balanced curriculum. A breadth of learning experiences foster and encourage excellence in not only the core subjects but also through the foundation subjects.
We feel that pupils improve academically when offered the chances to engage in extracurricular activities that harness their passions and external interests.
We aim to do this by providing a wide range of opportunities to foster this including forest schools, bike ability, enrichment with our local senior schools, inter school sports leagues and Base radio.
Giving children opportunities in academy time to develop a wide range of skills that could foster the next star. After academy hours the teachers offer a range of clubs from sports to science to sewing.
The Core, which is part of our academy, is a purpose built state of the art facility, which provides our children and the community with unique opportunities that are second to none in Bristol.
These facilities are available for our children’s learning but are also hired for community and individual use, ranging from birthday parties to music evenings. The facilities include a large towered climbing wall, a fully equipped arts studio, amphitheater, refreshment bar and purpose built sports hall.
Our after school club is led by Mike and Anne. They travel on the Hareclive minibus to collect children from a range of schools.
