At Hareclive we want every child to achieve. We track the performance of all pupils, challenge lack of progress and intervene to ensure attainment gaps are closed.
We have a full and thorough offer of support for our children and work closely with parents and carers to ensure that support for learning continues at home too.
Through a rich curricular and extra-curricular programme, and strong links with the community, we help each child discover and develop their talents and interests. We harbour a love for the arts and utilise the unique Room 13 expertise. To find out more about Room 13, please click here.
We place great importance on enriching our curriculum through regular science, D&T and music sessions in our local secondary schools. We encourage the children to be independent and challenge themselves to be better. We encourage them to look at learning as a journey full of challenges, each challenge is something new that has been learned. We use every appropriate opportunity to unify our academy community and develop a whole academy culture of success.
We know that parental involvement is key to successful outcomes for children, so parents are regularly invited into academy to be part of their children’s learning journeys are share in their successes. Our associate governors (a team of children who lead and drive improvement at the academy) meet weekly to feedback the views of children and we regularly ask for parent views and involvement to enable us to make our academy a better place for our learners and their families.
