HCL Home Learning Guide
The HCL Home Learning Guide has been written to support you and your children at home over the coming weeks.
Our vision for teaching and learning at Hareclive E-ACT Academy, continues to reflect the high expectations and aspirations that all staff have of themselves and their learners.
In these unprecedented times, we continue to value our role in providing an excellent education for our pupils. How we educate and support you and your families has had to change, but our children’s learning, as well as your families’ safety and well-being, continue to be our priorities.
We would like to thank all members of our staff for their hard work-under exceptional circumstances in continuing to provide learning opportunities and for communicating with and supporting our families.
We would also like to thank all parents and carers for working with us to provide support, encouragement and guidance at home. We understand that this role will not always be easy and we are here to support you.
Finally, a huge thank you to our pupils for engaging with their education in a different way; everything that we are doing is to support you. It is lovely when we receive emails, photos, videos of you ‘doing the right thing’. Your positivity and resilience is shining through in your communication with us.
Our lessons are now live on Microsoft Teams. Please see our live lessons page for more information on how to login and access live learning.
Your teachers may also continue to set some work on Seesaw. Seesaw is an online platform that allows children and parents to login and message their class teachers and share what they have learnt.
You should have received a text message asking you to sign up with a unique code. Please download the Seesaw app on yours, or your child’s device. Click “I’m a student” and enter your code. If you get stuck, need your code resent or have any questions, just get in touch!
Reception are continuing to use Tapestry to communicate with you and to share learning too.
Your teachers will also provide you with reading books on Bug Club.
